What Is This Chicken Looking For?

I caught one of our 12 hens at BIGFeathersFarm working overtime today! She found a tiny piece of chicken food tucked deep inside a brick and refused to give up until she got it. In the chicken life, no crumb is left behind, and watching their determination is truly motivational. On our homestead, we love seeing the natural foraging instincts of our backyard chickens in action. Even with 2 roosters watching over them, the girls are always focused on their next snack! Our flock management and poultry care routine ensures they are well-fed, but a "hidden" treat always seems to taste better to them. It’s amazing how a simple brick can turn into a puzzle toy for a clever hen.
