Perfect Fudge Brownies Ingredients 3 eggs (room temperature) ½ cup powdered sugar ( 100 g ) ½ cup powdered brown sugar 100 g (or 1 cup powdered white sugar) 200 g dark chocolate compound (reserve ¼ cup, chopped) 100 g butter (or ½ cup oil) ¼ cup cocoa powder 1 cup all-purpose flour (120–130 g) 1 tsp vanilla extract ¼ cup chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips Optional: ¼ cup chopped walnuts or other nuts Method Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, powdered sugar, and powdered brown sugar until the sugar is well dissolved. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together using a microwave (10-second intervals, stirring each time) or a double boiler. Let the mixture cool to room temperature. Pour the cooled chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and whisk until well combined. Add the cocoa powder and mix until smooth. Sift the all-purpose flour (you can sift the cocoa powder with it if preferred) and gently fold it into the batter until no dry flour remains. Do not add baking powder or baking soda if you want classic fudgy brownies. Stir in the vanilla extract, the reserved chopped chocolate, and, if desired, chocolate chips or chopped walnuts. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan lined with parchment paper. Tap the pan gently to release any air bubbles. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes. Use only the bottom heating element during baking if your oven allows, then switch on the top heating element for the last 5 minutes to create a crisp, crackly top. Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool completely to room temperature before unmolding. Slice into squares and serve. Tips Use room-temperature eggs for the best texture. Avoid overmixing after adding the flour to keep the brownies soft and fudgy. The brownies are done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs, not wet batter. For an extra-rich texture, add chopped walnuts or extra chocolate chunks to the How to Bake Brownies on a Gas Stove Take a heavy-bottomed kadai, deep pan, or large pot with a tight-fitting lid. Place a stand/ring (1–2 inches high) inside the kadai so the baking pan doesn't touch the bottom directly. Cover the kadai with the lid and preheat on low-medium heat for 10–15 minutes. Pour the brownie batter into a greased, parchment-lined baking tin. Place the tin on the stand inside the preheated kadai. Cover with the lid. Do not add water. Bake on low heat for 35–45 minutes. Avoid opening the lid for the first 30 minutes. Check with a toothpick. For fudgy brownies, it should come out with a few moist crumbs, not wet batter. Remove the pan and let the brownies cool completely before cutting. Tips Use the lowest flame to prevent the bottom from burning. A thick-bottomed kadai gives the best results. If your lid has a steam vent, you can cover the vent with a small piece of foil or a cloth (keeping it away from the flame) to retain heat better. Every gas stove is slightly different, so baking time may vary between 35 and 45 minutes. Airfryer:- Place the pan in the preheated air fryer and bake at 160°C (320°F) for 18–25 minutes, depending on your air fryer. Check with a toothpick—it should come out with a few moist crumbs, not wet batter. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan for at least 30–45 minutes before slicing. For extra fudgy brownies, chill them in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours before serving. #FudgeBrownies #BrownieRecipe #ChocolateBrownies #HomemadeBrownies #EasyBrownies #BestBrownieRecipe #GooeyBrownies #ChewyBrownies #ChocolateDessert #BakingRecipe #EggBrownies #BrownieLovers #DessertRecipe #ChocolateLovers #EasyDessert #HomeBaking #BrowniesFromScratch #TeaTimeSnacks #CookWithLubna #RecipeOfTheDay
