A Rube Goldberg machine is basically a chain reaction you build, usually to accomplish a simple task, like turning on a light or feeding the dog. This summer, part of the chain reaction has to include water. Next up is a SLO-MO VIDEO, but this one has to include one of the most important engineering devices ever invented… GOOGLY EYES. Now, for the record, they don't need to be official googly eyes with a lens - cutting out two white circles, and smaller black ones, will totally get the job done. The final option, and again, you can totally do as many of these challenges as you want, is a REVERSE-VIDEO USING FOOD. There are a bunch of free phone apps that let you shoot a video and then play it back in reverse, so the challenge is to create something that looks cool in reverse and incorporates food in some way.
