#projectmotorracing Ranked Race online - Round 2 Event: Porsche 992 Sprint Series Car: Porsche 911 GT3 (992) Track: Canadian Tire Motorsport Park - Grand Prix This is the second round of the Porsche 992 Sprint Series Event which takes place at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park Grand Prix Circuit. Putting up a Qualifying lap time throughout this 992 Sprint Series is tough because there is little time is available to do so for this session. Plus to add on to this challenge, the tires on the Porsche 911 take a while to build up enough heat to get to ideal condition for posting up a lap time. And then on top of that, there's still the issue of actually staying on the track for an entire lap so that your lap time doesn't get invalidated. I was fortunately able to get in a valid lap this time. But it certainly wasn't easy to do so. As for the setup to run at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, I didn't have much time to figure things out during Qualifying session. So I decided to go to the setup I recently used to race at Interlagos, which I think has a similar layout to this track. A few additional tweaks to suspension and differential settings were made just before the race. The race got off to a frantic start as there was some drama emerging among a few drivers coming off the grid. I had major issues controlling my Porsche 911 midway through the opening lap while the tires were warming up. I also had a weird adventure trying to drive with my troubling connection to another driver through the first couple laps of this race that really affected my car. I was very lucky to not crash out during this situation. But my car still suffered heavy damage through this ordeal.
