POV: I photographed an overgrown church in the middle of London

I've been into photography since I was 10, when I read a macro photography book and became fascinated by close-up photos of bugs. I started snapping pictures with my phone, especially of bees in my backyard. In 2023, I finally moved to using a proper camera (Fujifilm X-S1), which was a bit challenging at first, but I got the hang of it after a few months. By 2024, I had upgraded to the Fujifilm X-T4 and explored more of South Australia with my dad. Nature and landscapes captivated me, though capturing wildlife was tricky without a big zoom lens. Still, I managed to get some decent wildlife shots with the 18-55mm. 2025 was a memorable year as I participated in my first major photography competitions, achieving commendation at Australasia's Top Emerging Photographers and being a finalist in the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year and Crikey! Magazine competitions. I experimented with real estate and 4WD car photography and honed my black and white skills at school. I was also featured in The Leader Barossa Newspaper and The Australian after my photo 'Monochrome Marsupial' became a finalist in the AGNPOTY. December 2025 took me to London for five weeks, with quick stops in Paris, Barcelona, and China. This trip allowed me to try different techniques in urban settings, leading to some of my best photos—like capturing my first squirrels and foxes! #liamkeiller #liamkeillerphotography #thisislondon
