THE RETURN OF THE QUEEN. This time, we bring you the female officer—the one who claimed the Queen's throne in an epic underdog victory I posted recently—one year later. If you want to see her breathtaking comeback win, scroll back through a few Shorts on my channel. This footage is from the annual "National Police Motorcycle Safe Riding Competition" in Japan. Elite motorcycle officers from all over the country gather here, putting the prestige of their respective prefectural police forces on the line to compete in pure skill. It might be hard to grasp from overseas, but simply qualifying for this event is considered an incredible feat. Winning it is the absolute highest honor for a motorcycle officer in Japan. Even if they win, the only reward is a commendation and gracing the cover of next year's pamphlet. They hone their skills purely to protect the citizens and their own lives. Although the competition is titled "Safe Riding," the actual content is incredibly brutal. Of course, they compete for time, but any contact with a pylon or any part of the motorcycle (including the bank sensors) touching the ground results in immediate point deductions. They must clock the fastest time while maintaining an absolutely flawless "Zero-Touch" run. This is fundamentally different from regular Gymkhana. Furthermore, before the two narrow-path turns, they must make a temporary stop and check behind them for safety. This must be a "Complete Stop." If the front tire crosses the stop line by even 1 centimeter, that is also a deduction. Even if the competition day brings harsh wet conditions, these strict rules do not change at all. Look closely at the bank sensor at the tip of the footpeg in the close-up shot. You can see a black resin cap fitted onto it. This is used for the ultimate physical check to see if the peg touched the ground after the run. The numerous judges stationed around the course are professionals among professionals. They never miss the faint "scrape" sound of a bank sensor touching down. Yet, they still physically touch this cap after the run to confirm that a "Zero-Touch" run was perfectly executed. Now, back to the footage. As a rule, the previous year's champion performs a demonstration run, nominally called a "course check run," in front of a massive crowd. This footage shows exactly that moment. When she won the previous year, her riding was intense, almost desperately fighting off the crushing pressure. In contrast, her run this time (the first rider in the video) is overflowing with absolute composure. Even the standard competition bikes are equipped with police panniers and crash bumpers, reportedly bringing their total weight to around 300 kg (660 lbs). But the bike she is riding for this demonstration is a full-spec model, burdened with extra equipment like red emergency lights, measuring instruments, and cameras—meaning its weight easily exceeds 300 kg. To see her handle such a massive machine with this level of effortless grace... you can truly imagine the rigorous, high-stakes daily duties she has endured on the streets since her victory. As a point of comparison, the second half of the video shows the run of another female officer, a highly elite rider also summoned for the demonstration run that day. Actually, when I shared her footage on YouTube Shorts, her riding was so beautiful that it garnered over 28 million views. She is an amazing rider in her own right. 【SOUND ON】 Please concentrate on the audio. In the middle of her run, you can hear the faint "scrape" sound of the bank sensor touching the ground. That is how insanely difficult it is to complete this course with a Zero-Touch run. Understanding this deep background will make watching the numerous videos I share even more fascinating. I will continue to post exclusive, rare footage that only I possess, so if you are interested, please subscribe to my channel.
