The 2027 Chevy Bolt EV is back, and Chevy has reintroduced this affordable electric vehicle with some exciting updates and modern features. Non-commission sales specialist Sean Crain shares more. On the outside, the 2027 Bolt now comes standard with LED daytime running lights and LED projector headlights. These upgraded lights help cut through snow and rain more effectively while giving the vehicle a sharper, more modern appearance. Chevy has also redesigned the front end, giving the Bolt a sportier and more aggressive look. In the rear, you’ll find a spacious trunk area, along with additional storage underneath the cargo floor for extra flexibility. The vehicle also includes a dual-level charge cord. One of the biggest updates is the switch to the NACS charging port, similar to what Tesla uses. That means you’ll have access to the Tesla Supercharger network without needing to purchase a separate adapter. Inside, returning Bolt owners will recognize some familiar elements, but there are important updates as well. The shifter has been moved to the right side of the steering wheel, similar to the Equinox EV and Blazer EV. There’s also a configurable cup holder designed to better accommodate items like larger water bottles. Up top, storage remains practical and functional. The touchscreen layout feels familiar but has been refreshed. The 2027 Bolt EV now includes built-in Google, allowing you to use Google Assistant for navigation, calls, texts, and more — all hands-free.
