Cabinet Approves Major Highway Projects Across 4 States | Better Connectivity & Faster Growth

The Cabinet has approved several key road infrastructure projects aimed at improving connectivity, boosting logistics efficiency, and supporting economic growth across Odisha, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana. 📍 Key Approvals: 🔹 Construction of a new Coastal Highway from Rameshwar to Paradeep in Odisha as part of the Coastal Highway Project 🔹 Upgradation of the Khagaria–Purnea section of NH-31 and NH-231 to 4-lane standards in Bihar 🔹 Upgradation of sections of NH-347B in Madhya Pradesh 🔹 Widening of the Armoor–Jagtial–Mancherial section of NH-63 and the Jagtial–Karimnagar section of NH-563 to 4-lane standards in Telangana These projects are expected to improve road safety, reduce travel time, strengthen freight movement, and accelerate regional development.
