No holds barred - that’s been the Ducati way for 100 years now. How else do you expect them to celebrate their 100 years (1926–2026)? Enter Superleggera V4 Centenario. With a limited-production run of just 500 units, the Centenario isn’t sprinkled with carbon-fibre. It is forged in it. The frame, swingarm, subframes and wheels are all carbon fibre. Wait. there’s more rarity. It is also the first production road-legal motorcycle to use Brembo carbon-ceramic brake discs. Since this is an ultra-specced Ducati, the performance figures are obviously mind boggling at best. It is powered by a bespoke 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale R V4 developed specifically for the Centenario. It puts down 228 hp in road-legal trim and 247 hp with the supplied Akrapovič racing exhaust and track kit. Weight? Just 173 kg wet (without fuel) in road trim and 167 kg with the supplied racing kit. That's roughly 1.48 hp/kg. 😱 If the Centenario is too “generic” for you, you can always get an even rarer 100-unit Tricolore which is strictly capped at just 100 units worldwide, making it one of the rarest production Ducatis ever built. Instead of the solid deep red pulse paint, it features a custom, hand-painted livery wrapped in the green, white, and red of the Italian flag.
