Every sport needs people willing to fight for its future, including motorsports. For years, Japanese drag racing has continued to shrink, with fewer racers, fewer events, and many wondering what the future holds for the sport. But for people like Yuji, giving up was never an option. While most see the challenges drag racing is facing in Japan, Yuji sees an opportunity to rebuild it. Not only is it his goal to keep the sport alive, but also to help bring it back to a level where Japanese racers can once again compete on the world stage.
