"Ahead of the peace talks between United States and Iran Sunday at the Buergenstock luxury hotel complex overlooking Lake Lucerne in Switzerland, US Vice President held a quick meeting with Pakistan's mediating delegation led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir. Appreciating Munir's role in the mediation efforts, Vance remarked, "I have joked that I have two very, very important people in my life. An Indian and a Pakistani. The Indian is my wife, and the Pakistani is Field Marshal Munir.
