Northeast Ohio weather forecast: Watching rain chances

Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for July 8, 2026: It's been a beautiful July day with plenty of sun and temperatures near average in the 80s. A few passing clouds tonight with lows near 70. Far less foggy than the last few nights. Temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 80s on Thursday. Isolated rain/rumbles will be possible through the day. Additional rain and rumbles will be likely overnight and into Friday, with the potential for higher coverage, especially for southern communities. Clouds and some sprinkles could linger to start Saturday. A good northeast wind could cause some issues for the lakeshore. Conditions improve later on and the rest of the weekend looks great. Sunshine will return with comfortable temperatures and lower humidity.
