Sierra co-founder says autonomous AI agents are already handling customer service

Sierra co-founder Clay Bavor says some companies are moving beyond AI tools that simply assist workers — and are going straight to autonomous agents. Bavor told CNBC’s Arjun Kharpal that AI agents can help fully resolve up to 80% of incoming customer inquiries in some cases, from mortgage questions to troubleshooting products.
