E-bikes making hard enduro history at events like 2026 Erzberg! Please note this video discusses the results and looks at full sized electric enduro models that could be competing soon but does NOT include actual race footage from Erzberg 202.. So let's look at enduro e-motos like the Jarv-E and Stark Varg at Erzberg! A couple of years ago we discussed electric enduro motorbikes and suggested it would quite a while before they were good enough to seriously compete in hard enduro events. It looks as though it is happening sooner than we anticipated. At the latest Erzberg event Eddie Karlsson finished ninth on a Stark Varg despite having no rear brake for the entire race. Graham Jarvis finished 10th on his electric Jarv-E. And Toby Martyn was in 12th place on a Stark Varg as well. There were 43 electric enduro motorbikes entered in total. Into enduro and dirt bikes? Check out our dirt bike videos. Extreme enduro training vids are our focus. It does look as though we've reached a tipping point for electricity! It's impressive to see the Stark Vargs doing so well. If they are using the standard batteries they weigh 118kg which would make them among the heaviest in the competition. We have heard of half-sized batteries developed which could potentially drop 15kg of weight but we can't confirm if these are being used in the hard enduro events. Graham Jarvis' impressive run on the Jarv-E will no doubt help promote this new model despite the high price tag. Need hard enduro training? Work through our video lists. Hard enduro techniques are covered in our training vids. At a claimed 67 HP and 95kg weight it would have been one of the lightest motorbikes at Erzberg. In race trim this will be only 90kg - even lighter than the Jarv-E. Let's take a quick look at full-sized electric enduro models that are already available or will be later this year.
