#CologuardPartner If you’re 45 or older, this is your reminder. Colon cancer is THE #1 leading cause of cancer-related death in the US for adults under the age of 50. The @Cologuard Plus test is screening that can be done on your schedule, without a procedure. If you’re 45+ and at average risk, ask your healthcare provider about screening for colon cancer with the Cologuard Plus® test or request a prescription online. The Cologuard® and Cologuard Plus™ tests are intended to screen adults 45 years of age and older who are at average risk for colorectal cancer by detecting certain DNA markers and blood in the stool. Do not use the Cologuard products if you have: Had adenomas, which are a type of colon polyp that can sometimes become cancer; inflammatory bowel disease or other hereditary syndromes; a personal or first-degree family history of colorectal cancer; or a positive result from another colon cancer screening method within that test's recommended screening interval. Talk to your healthcare provider if any of these situations apply to you. Cologuard results should be interpreted with caution. A positive test result does not confirm the presence of cancer. Patients with a positive test result should be referred for colonoscopy. A negative test result does not confirm the absence of cancer. Patients with a negative test result should discuss with their doctor when they need to be tested again. False positives and false negative results can occur. Rx only. @Cologuard
