C’est une annonce qui pourrait peser lourd dans la recomposition du paysage politique guinéen à l’approche du double scrutin du 24 mai 2026. Alors que plusieurs formations politiques choisissent la voie du boycott, à l’image du PEDN et du MoDeL, le Bloc Libéral de Faya Millimouno a, lui, décidé de participer aux élections législatives et communales. Mais attention : ce n’est pas un blanc-seing donné au processus électoral. Le parti pose au contraire une série de conditions strictes pour garantir, selon ses responsables, des élections libres, transparentes, crédibles et équitables.  À travers les déclarations d’Oumar Sanoh, le Bloc Libéral affiche une ligne politique claire : oui à la compétition électorale, mais non à une participation passive dans un cadre jugé déséquilibré. Neutralité de l’administration, impartialité des forces de défense et de sécurité, refus de l’utilisation des moyens de l’État à des fins de campagne, respect strict des lois encadrant le scrutin : autant d’exigences qui montrent que, pour le BL, participer ne signifie pas cautionner.  Cette position ouvre un débat central : le Bloc Libéral fait-il le choix du réalisme politique, en préférant la bataille dans les urnes à la politique de la chaise vide ? Ou prend-il le risque de légitimer un processus déjà contesté par d’autres acteurs de l’opposition ?
