I captured this wild plasma just hanging above the suns surface. It's creating some coronal rain but mostly seems to just hang there. It seems this has been going on for hours! This solar time-lapse reveals the Sun’s surface, filmed with a special solar filter. You’ll see dramatic solar flares, plasma loops, giant eruptions, and even Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs).
