We Flew To Montana and Rented a Snowmobile to Climb Mount Two Top

Have you ever seen a snow ghost? These are absolutely beautiful- and I’m going to show you how to find them for yourself. First, fly to Montana and rent a snowmobile. I rented this Polaris 850 RMK Khaos, it’s got a 155” track that can go through deep powder. Next, follow the trail system out of Montana and into Idaho. Then, turn off the trail and climb all the way to the top of Mount Two Top. This mountain can have snow depths over 10’ deep and temperatures as cold as 60 degrees below Fahrenheit. Now if you’ve never snowmobiled, you might wanna consider hiring a guide or at least going with a friend. My wife came along and she rented a 650 RMK. Also, it’s good to wear a backpack with supplies: some extra clothes, food, and a shovel for situations like this when you get stuck- at least you have a way to dig yourself out. And this shovel even has a saw that comes out of the handle, in case you get tangled up in a tree branch. Snow ghosts are formed on the trees by wind and snow. Up on top you can see forever- you can actually see 7 different mountain ranges.
