Platner IS OUT After Latest Allegations

Graham Platner has dropped out of the Maine Senate race after Jenny Racicot publicly accused him of sexual assault, an allegation he denies but one that quickly cost him support from major Democratic figures and progressive allies. His exit video blamed the media, the establishment, and political structures while barely acknowledging the woman at the center of the story. Maine Democrats now have two weeks to choose a replacement in one of the party’s most important Senate races, and voters deserve a nominee who can fight for working people without asking anyone to look away from serious allegations.
