Boxer Tyson attends the 50th anniversary events of "Fight in the Forest" at the KDC

Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has arrived in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to attend events marking the 50th anniversary of the legendary “Rumble in the Jungle” fight. The celebrations commemorate the historic 1974 bout between boxing legends Muhammad Ali and George Foreman, held in Kinshasa. Speaking at a press conference organized as part of the anniversary events, Tyson announced that he will train in the streets of Kinshasa tomorrow and meet athletes from the National Boxing Federation of Congo. Tyson is also expected to visit the historic venue of the fight — the former Tata Raphaël Stadium, now renamed the Ali-Foreman Stadium.
