The film revolves around Amar, a wealthy bachelor and Bollywood filmmaker, who falls in love with actress Gul. They marry and live harmoniously for a few years before differences arise. A pregnant Gul leaves Amar and starts working as a high-class with Balaam Hyderabadi. She gives birth to a daughter, Sona, and with Kishan Murari's help, admits her to a hostel in Delhi. Gul later gives birth to a son, Mohan, and keeps her professional life a secret from him. As years pass, Gul brings home a young, Roopa, to secure her future.
