A good embryo itself doesn't guarantee a successful IVF. Many other factors affect a positive pregnancy. So one of them is the endometrium. A good endometrium and a good embryo both together will give a good result. Not just that, there are anatomical factors in the uterus as fibroids, polyps or anomalies, that could be affecting, and there are physiological factors like hormonal profiles. It could be thyroid, it could be other hormones that could be affecting, and also there could be genetic factors not just of the couple but also the genetics of the embryo that could affect the pregnancies, and there are immunological factors that affect the pregnancy rate in an IVF. So just because it's a good embryo doesn't always guarantee a good IVF result.
