In Madrid’s elegant Almagro neighbourhood, this 1970s apartment has been completely reimagined by architect Eduardo Mediero, founder of HANGHAR, for himself and his partner Pelayo. Stripped back to its bare structure, the space was reconfigured by reclaiming two small triangular balconies, swapping the living and sleeping areas, and introducing two bold MDF storage volumes that divide the layout, integrate the bedroom, and concentrate storage.
