Situated directly on the shores of the Breitenauer See and at the foot of the Löwenstein Mountains, this 17-hectare site is widely considered one of the top-tier camping destinations in the country. Landscape: Surrounded by vineyards and vast forests, it serves as a gateway to the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park. Access: Direct access to the recreational lake (Breitenauer See) with a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. 🚐 Camping & Accommodation Specs Total Area: 10–17 hectares (recreational area included). Pitches: 300 touring pitches (100–197 m²) plus 300 permanent annual pitches. Surface: Grass and hard ground; some pitches are sloping while others are flat. Utilities: All pitches include 16A electrical hook-ups (Euro-plug required), water connections, and greywater drainage. Rentals: Log cabins, pods, barrels, mobile homes, bungalows, and rental caravans are available for non-campers. 🚿 Sanitary & Facilities Sanitary Blocks: Hotel-standard cleanliness with heated floors. Facilities include individual wash cabins, family bathrooms, senior-friendly showers with wall supports, and dedicated children’s sanitary areas.
