How to Block & Report a Contact on Microsoft Teams (Mac) 💻 Step 1: Open Microsoft Teams Launch the Microsoft Teams app on your Mac and sign in to your account. Step 2: Open the Chat with the Contact Go to the Chat tab from the left sidebar. Click on the conversation with the person you want to block or report. Step 3: Open Contact Options At the top of the chat, click the contact’s name or profile picture. A details panel will open on the right side. Step 4: Block the Contact In the contact details panel, scroll down if needed. Click Block. Confirm when prompted. This immediately stops the person from messaging or calling you. Step 5: Report the Contact or Message To report a specific message: Hover over the suspicious message Click the three dots next to it Select Report Choose Phishing, Scam, or Inappropriate content Submit the report To report the contact: Use the contact profile panel Select Report if available Step 6: Delete the Chat After blocking and reporting, right-click the chat. Select Delete to remove it from your chat list. Step 7: Secure Your Account Change your Microsoft account password. Enable two-step verification if it is not already enabled.
