'UDASI MON ‘ is a soulful Bengali tragic romantic song that ironically portrays the life long tragedy of a lover as she was betrayed by her partner whom she loves the most. Her sufferings and unspoken feelings unfolds by her bosom friend through a heartfelt melancholy tunes. Victim‘s friend trying to console her by this song as she reiterates ‘tor moner kotha ajke na hoi amakei de bole’ meaning ‘ LET YOUR HEART SPEAK TO ME TODAY’ I, Sandip Sarkar, the producer and music composer of this song was moved by the lyrics written by the eminent poet Minakshi Das, though I have changed the lyrics a little bit for the rhythm of the song. In the very modern amenities of Grooves studio, Akash Roy & Anupam Dutta was responsible to make it happen. Lastly, I would like to thank Pramit Ganguly and Olivia Banerjee for making the video sensible.
