President Donald Trump has reportedly paused renewed retaliatory strikes on Iran as discussions resume over a potential peace deal following the collapse of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The strikes came after Iran resumed strikes on ships, targeting a vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, off the coast of Oman. The list of potential replacements grows after Graham Platner announced he will exit the race for US Senate in Maine following new sexual assault allegations. Platner won the Democrat primary, but said he will file to remove himself on Monday, leaving Democrats with just a couple weeks to pick a replacement to take on longtime Republican Senator Susan Collins. A weeklong preliminary hearing for the man accused of killing Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk will wrap Friday in a Utah courtroom where prosecutors have presented the evidence they have against Tyler Robinson. Robinson, is charged with aggravated murder for the killing of Kirk.
