Meat Platter Carnivore Challenge

Manhood should be measured by how well you can take down a tomahawk 😤🥩 Tonight I’m in Elwood at Lezzet , normally an upscale Turkish spot… but tonight it’s hosting a full blown carnivore race. Welcome to the Battle of the Mediterranean!!! On one side of the table we’ve got Kem (the Turkish owner himself) Chris (a high performance coach from Greece) and Tayo (a well known Greek singer). Plenty of confidence, plenty of talk… but let’s see who can actually eat!! Both teams get served a Lezzet Meat Platter. Only problem for them, mine is built for 10 people, theirs is for 8. They’ve got three bellies, I’ve only got one. Lezzet is famous for authentic Anatolian cuisine, plus functions, catering and takeaway, and they didn’t hold back. Slow cooked lamb, chicken, sujuk, cauliflower, chickpea salad, piles of Turkish bread, esme and potatoes. The boys are looking busy, but not much food is disappearing. While they’re arguing across the table, I’m kicking into another gear. One goal only… get this Anatolian feast down in under 30 minutes!
