What's Happening to Monkeys at the University of Louisiana?

A whistleblower has recorded conditions at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s New Iberia Research Center, the largest primate laboratory in the United States. Thousands of monkeys are trapped there and used in painful, deadly experiments. Many are confined in barren cages, infected with viruses, and killed when experiments end. Federal inspection reports document repeated animal welfare violations, including deaths linked to dehydration, extreme temperatures, and traumatic injuries. Experiments on animals must be stopped.
