Meet the Artemis Astronauts | NASA’s Team for the Return to the Moon

Meet the astronauts helping lead NASA’s Artemis era of lunar exploration. Through the Artemis program, NASA and its international partners aim to return humans to the Moon, expand scientific discovery, test the technologies needed for long-term exploration, and help prepare for future missions to Mars. This video highlights the Artemis team and the broader mission behind the program: learning how humans can live and work farther from Earth, exploring more of the Moon than ever before, and building the systems needed for a sustained presence beyond low Earth orbit. The current Artemis II crew includes NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, along with Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen. Artemis II is NASA’s first crewed Artemis mission and is planned as an approximately 10-day mission around the Moon and back. Artemis is part of NASA’s long-term Moon to Mars strategy, using missions to the Moon to advance science, develop exploration systems, and prepare humanity to go farther into deep space. Source: NASA
