Description

A McLennan County detective rescued a woman from a submerged vehicle in the Brazos River last Friday while driving to weapons training, authorities said. Detective Michael Miller said he spotted a large splash in the water about 20 to 25 yards away. When he saw the person inside the vehicle in distress, he jumped in. “I was questioning what I saw to make sure,” Miller said. “The person in the vehicle started shaking frantically, like get me out of here.”
