GMKtec already has plenty of modern CPU-based mini PC systems, bringing powerful processors from the Zen 5-based Strix Halo and even Arrow Lake family, but this one marks the first-ever Lunar Lake device that will bring a balanced set of features for professionals and even gamers. The NucBox K13 is an ultra-compact mini PC that measures just 18.6 cm in length, and is even more compact than a standard gaming console. The device weighs just 523 grams, making it extremely easy to carry around and brings powerful specs and connectivity features for the masses. At the heart of the device lies the 8-core/8-thread Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor, which brings powerful AI compute to carry out local AI workloads. The processor has a decently strong integrated Arc 140V GPU, which can play most games with decent frame rates. The K13 brings up to 115 AI TOPS of total AI performance, making it a viable solution for local AI inference, automation workflows, and also for advanced multitasking. The device is also the first-ever mini PC from GMKtec to bring a 5 GbE LAN port for high-speed internet connectivity. The system uses 16 GB LPDDR5X memory clocked at 8533 MT/s that is sufficient for most apps and games, and the storage can be expanded to 16 TB using Dual PCIe 4.0 2280 NVMe SSD slots. The connectivity includes an HDMI 2.1 port that supports triple 4K displays, and there are dual USB4 ports with Alt DP as well.
