First Aid for Burns, What NOT to do 🚫🔥

Burns happen fast, but the wrong treatment can make them worse. Here’s what to avoid and how to treat a burn the right way. ❌ Don’t do this: • Don’t pop blisters • Don’t use ice directly on the burn ✅ Do this instead: 1️⃣ Cool the burn with lukewarm water for about 10 minutes, only if the burn is smaller than the patient’s hand size 2️⃣ Cover the wound with sterile gauze pads 3️⃣ Wrap it loosely with a bandage, avoid pressure and handle the area very gently Burn care is simple, but doing it right makes a huge difference.
