After servicing this Cybernet 134 chassis set from 1981, it was time to test it. This radio ended up wit exceptional receive sensitivity of 0.2uV for 10dB SINAD....was 0.9uV when it came in.
Recorded 30th June 2026
Mr Chippie drove along our usual 6-mile test route, the 'wrong side' of a hill. He stopped at the five mile point to test this set as a low power static test. The radio was set for 4.0W for full power & 0.4W (400mW) for low power. Our own standard replacementl mike was used throughout.
Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio (and new mike) which is fitted to the test vehicle at no cost to us. This is the sole reason for the 'paid promotion' marker on this video.
