From Wind Turbine Blade to Resting Spot & Coffee Corner | ACCIONA Energía

What if an old wind turbine blade could have a second life? At the WindEurope annual conference in Madrid, we made it happen. We brought along a blade from one of Spain’s oldest wind farms—recently repowered—and gave it a completely new purpose. Instead of retiring it, we transformed it into functional benches where thousands of attendees could take a break between sessions, and even into a unique coffee corner.
