NEW MONSTERS, INC. LAND DETAILS 🚨

👁️💙 We just got our FIRST real story details about the new Monsters, Inc. land coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Disney revealed that guests will be visiting Monstropolis during H.U.M.A.N. Day — short for “Humans Understand Monsters Are Nice.” The land takes place after the events of the original film, when Sulley and Mike discovered that laughter is a much more powerful energy source than screams. Now, for the first time ever, Monstropolis is opening its doors to humans! 🎉 According to Disney, the city has even created a new Department of Human Relations to help monsters and humans get to know each other as part of this historic celebration. Guests will be invited to explore the city, meet its residents, and experience Monstropolis during this special day of laughter and friendship. We also got further confirmation that recognizable locations like Harryhausen’s and the Glob Theater will be part of the land, helping bring the monster world to life in a big way. 👀 And one detail has our DFB team group chat buzzing: the newspaper-style art Disney released includes several references to 8/15. Is that a hint that we will learn more at D23 (which takes place in mid-August)? We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on that one.
