Israel’s parliament has passed a law approving the death penalty for Palestinians convicted of murdering Israelis. The bill’s passage on Monday marked a major victory for the right in Israel, which has long pushed for the measure. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu came to the chamber to vote yes in person. And Artemis II, humanity’s first flight to the moon since 1972, is set to launch on Wednesday. Four astronauts will perform a lunar fly-by, hurtling several thousand miles beyond the moon before returning to earth. The mission is set to last less than 10 days.
