A female of Long-tailed Blue (aka pea blue; Lampides boeticus, family Lycaenidae) visiting yellow petalless flowers of gold-and-silver chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum pacificum, family Asteraceae) in the roadside flowerbed to sip nectar. After that, she opened her wings to bask in the late-autumn sunshine. Captured in the sunny midafternoon (around 15:10 PM) of early-November 2024 in Japan.
