THAT PLACE Whanganui, a must ride MTB destination in NZ

I have been wanting to ride "That Place" near Whanganui in New Zealand for some time now but it is a long way from Auckland. This is the first stop on our 2026 caravan adventure and this place was a banger way to start. We camped on site, then were guided around the park with a mixture of flow and tech trails. The bike park had trails that I found a real challenge but also had lots of fast fun trails as well. I would strongly recommend doing the whole camping experience. It is rustic but has toilets, hot showers, power, wifi and cooking facilities.
