Description

As part of your Toronto Zoo's Climate Action, Learning and Leadership (CALL) program, and over the course of 12 weeks, CALL interns have the opportunity to get a better understanding of various career options in conservation science through an end-of-semester cumulative project. CALL interns work in various areas of the Zoo, for example, nutrition, horticulture, wildlife care, and conservation programs, to gain valuable work experience, and knowledge while building transferrable skills. Before the conclusion of his term and in celebration of #WorldCaribouDay, CALL intern Tom spent time with our Caribou ambassadors in the Tundra Trek, learning more about this iconic Canadian species while getting key facts for his project 🦌
