Description
If you know, you know…
Parquet flooring has to be one of the most stubborn flooring materials to remove during a renovation. It seems like every piece is glued down with the intention of lasting forever, and what looks like a quick demo can turn into hours of scraping and frustration.
For smaller demo projects like this, I’ve found the Hilti TE 6-22 makes the job a whole lot more manageable. Paired with the right chisel, it helps get underneath the flooring and break the bond without feeling like you’re fighting every square inch by hand.
It’s still not a fun job… but it’s definitely a better job.
What’s the worst flooring you’ve ever had to remove: parquet, tile, hardwood, vinyl, or something else?
