Abella Feels Like A Failure... After her first gymnastics competition in Texas, Abella was not feeling her best! As her parents, it breaks our hearts to know that Abella feels like a failure, when she has had to deal with many new changes. She absolutely loves gymnastics and she has worked so hard during this move from her California Gymnastics to her Texas gymnastics team! Today was an opportunity for us as parents to navigate through the mental toughness that gymnast experience, even at a very young age athletes need to be supported in every aspect of their athletic journey. We are glad that Abella was able to speak up and express how she felt during her gymnastics competition and we are so thankful for her gymnastics teammates, and her coaches who have been so incredibly supportive during this life transition.
