She is raped by an unknown assailant and comes home to the province pregnant. Her older sister Dinya (Dina Bonnevie) serves the Cuevas household to search for the culprit. She catches young master Bobby (Ricky Davao) but at the cost of her own vitrue. She blackmails the matriarch (Armida Siguion-Reyna) into making Bobby marry Aning. Meanwhile, Dinya gets pregnant herself and her family condemns her. Only the eldest Cuevas son Lar (Edu Manzano) knows that it it Bobby who is the baby's father. Soon, Bobby finds out about Dinya and his son and he endeavors to be close to them. Aning learns this and disowns Dinya. She is bitter because Bobby proves to be a boor of a husband as well.
