What Happened to Liam Vickers?

Did you know this in murder drones? Yesterday the shows creator liam vickers came out with an update that he’s leaving social media, ending all hopes for a season 2 of murder drones. Let me explain. So once murder drones ended in 2024, liam basically disappeared with little to no future posts. 2 days ago fans noticed that Liam deleted the 2020 update video from his youtube channel, and took down his patreon. Yesterday in his official discord server he came out with an announcement. He said he’s stepping back from social media. His server is going to continue on with fans running it, but it won’t be official anymore. He thanks everyone for the support and says he might have more youtube content in the future. So yeah this has basically ended any hopes fans had for a second season. If glitch ever does somehow bring the show back, it likely won’t have liam as the showrunner. Liam will continue working on personal projects, such as the indie series pixie park which he works on with his girlfriend. But probably not Internecion Cube or Cliffside. So personally i think this wasn’t too surprising, it was to be expected. Liam was quite inactive anyway, so it was nice that he gave an update. I also don’t entirely blame him for stepping back from social media, we’ve seen how glitch’s other showrunners have been treated, so it makes alot of sense to just retire once your show is finished.
