Description

This video shows the first 15+ cm (6+ inch) snowfall that affected the island of Montreal during this October-April period. The snow was associated with a strong Alberta Clipper that traveled NE. 16 cm (6.5 inches) of snowfall were observed from the evening of December 9th to December 11th at YUL. Snowfall rates were light throughout, with snow texture being powdery and fine-grained. Winds also generated significant blowing and drifting snow, especially as the snowfall was still in fine-grained form. Footage was taken in SW Pierrefonds, located in Montreal’s West Island. Radar imagery is courtesy of NOAA. -------------------------------SOCIAL-------------------------------- Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/travis.moore.5074/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/Rain1290 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/travis-moore-751a5634/ Direct YouTube messaging: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOhLNRWHln7Jahz_ivfuJLg/featured #severethunderstorm #supercell #tornado #weather #extremeweather #thunderstorm #snowstorm #snowplowing
