Eiichiro Oda’s "THE ONE PIECE" (currently serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump) has become one of Japan’s most popular manga series with fans around the globe. And now it’s being adapted into a new anime series, beginning with its “East Blue Saga” chapter. Produced by WIT Studio, this series will be set in a separate continuity from the current TV anime series, which continues to charge ahead at full power after more than 25 years. This new series pushes the boundaries of visual expression in ways that have not been possible till now, depicting the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates with a sense of immersion that feels familiar yet fresh.
