A special aspect of their history is that a strong earthquake in 2018 caused the formation to change: part of the rock collapsed into the sea and formed a small, new sandy beach at the foot of the cliffs. Since then, Mizithres has become even more unique and attracts photographers and nature lovers who enjoy the panorama from above or from a boat. Especially at sunset, the rocks glow in warm tones and offer a breathtaking sight - a truly unforgettable place on Zakynthos! The Keri Lighthouse on Zakynthos is not only a fantastic vantage point, but also an iconic location with spectacular views of the Mizithres Rocks and the vast Ionian Sea. Perched high on the cliffs near the small village of Keri, this lighthouse offers an incomparable panoramic view that is particularly unforgettable at sunset.
