V.15 "MAXI-PROJECT OF THE NORTHWEST"
Zone A: Restyling of the A4 between Verona and Bergamo
The first part of this major project is the complete restyling of the A4 between the A22 junction (near Verona) and the Bergamo area. The restyling consists of a completely redesigned highway route to make it more realistic. The landscape and the Montealto motorway system have also been improved.
Zone A: Restyling of the central Brescia area
As a result of the new A4 route, I had to redesign the entire Brescia area, eliminating the eastern area and improving the "central" area. This led to a general restyling of the city and, above all, the creation of the connection between Brescia, the A4, and the A21.
Zone A: Creation of the A21 between Brescia and Turin
Thanks to the creation of the junction with the A4 (near Brescia), the entire A21 is now present, all the way to Turin. The new highway includes two exits, two service areas, the junction with the A1 (near Piacenza), and the junction with the A7.
Zone A: Creation of Voghera
Voghera was also integrated with the creation of the A21, with its own dedicated highway exit. The city is home to several companies, including RFI, with its Voghera plant entirely and faithfully recreated. In addition to the companies, there is also a garage and a workshop.
Zone B: Restyling of the A4 Bergamo-Milan
Let's talk about the A4 again because its restyling has continued beyond Brescia, with a new route in the Bergamo and Milan area. This new section includes junctions with the A51, A8, and A50. The landscape around the highway primarily reflects the urban and industrial landscape of Milan, but also the countryside surrounding the city and the mountain ranges to the north.
Zone B: Restyling of the A51 Eastern Ring Road and Linate
From its junction with the A4, Milan's eastern ring road, the A51, extends southward. Here, the restyling I carried out led to the widening of the entire ring road to three lanes and also the restyling of Linate Airport, which also features its own InfoPoint.
Zone B: Creation of the A8 and Restyling of the A9
Thanks to the creation of the junction with the A4 (near Milan), the A8 motorway is now present, extending to the junction with the A9: this too has been redesigned (including the forecourt and the ADS Lario structure). The surrounding landscape is a mix of countryside, urban centers, industries, and mountains; landmarks such as the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum, the former EXPO 2015 area, and the large arched bridges of the SS11 that span the A4 and A8 are also included.
Zone C: Creation of the A4 MI-TO
Continuing on the A4 after the junction with the A51, you reach the Milano Ghisolfa toll booth. After this, continue without encountering any other exits until the Rondissone toll booth. Along the route, however, is the Novara service area with its characteristic, faithfully reproduced bridge structure. The surrounding landscape is typical of the Po Valley, but, towards Turin, there are distant views of the Alps. Once in Turin, you'll find the Settimo Torinese exit and the junction with the A55 ring road.
Zone C: Turin Reconstruction - A55 and Interporto
Exiting the A4 at the junction with the A55 ring road leads to the Falchera toll booth. From there, you can proceed towards the A32 (and T4), A6, and A21, or towards the A5 and the T1 and T2 tunnels. If you choose the first direction, you'll also find the junction for the Turin "SITO" interporto. There, there are four logistics companies, and further outside, a garage and a workshop. The area offers a mix of landscapes: suburbs, businesses, countryside, and distant mountains.
Zone C: Reconstruction of Turin - Downtown
Continuing on the A4 takes you directly into the city of Turin, home to the IVECO headquarters and plant and a Poste Italiane post office, both of which are fully operational and explorable. As landscape elements, I added the tramway, the Stura River, and the Lavazza and Intesa San Paolo towers (which are currently still being modeled).
Zone C: Restyling of the A5
Finally, the A5 Turin - Aosta - Mont Blanc motorway appears in the new Northwest highway system. This motorway has been reproduced in detail, widening the road originally created by SCS developers (from a single two-way carriageway to two lanes in each direction) and redesigning the Aosta city section.
