Many models start well over one hundred thousand dollars, and depending on options and configurations, the price can climb even higher. That means a SHERP can cost as much as a luxury truck, or sometimes even more. Because of that price tag, SHERPs are usually purchased by companies, emergency services, or serious explorers who need a vehicle capable of reaching places that other machines cannot. For them, the cost can be worth it because one SHERP can replace multiple vehicles like boats, tracked machines, and off-road trucks. Another reason for the high price is the way these machines are built. SHERPs are designed more like industrial equipment than recreational vehicles. Everything about them is engineered for durability and reliability in extremely harsh environments. Even though most people will probably never own one because of the price, it’s still hard not to admire what SHERP has created.
