Youth Spotlight @ The Monthly Focus Delaware Juniors Volleyball Club

As part of The Monthly Focus, the crew always highlights a promising local youth. This month was all about Delaware Juniors Volleyball Club! Delaware Juniors is a volleyball club that provides equal opportunities for athletes to join the program. It is the first club in the state of Delaware to offer a pathway for players from ages four through college. The team presented here is the 13-Elite, a group of girls who came together as strangers but quickly formed a bond through shared interests, humor, weekend tournaments and sisterhood. Through the art of sports, they have discovered the importance of communication, patience, and teamwork while developing skills that transcend volleyball. The Monthly Focus Youth Spotlight shines a light on a young person or youth organization doing something great in our community. The spotlight features groups and young individuals who are making a positive impact, building valuable skills, helping others, staying healthy, connecting with great role models, and having fun. Every month features someone who’s not only doing cool stuff now but is also setting themselves—or others—up for a brighter future. We want to hear about their passions, their hard work, and the difference they’re making. This segment is all about inspiring other young people to get involved, find their own path, and dream big.
